I recycle paper waste by pulping disregarded material and producing a range of contemporary vessels and sculptural forms for interior spaces, inspired by primitive artefacts, archaeology and nature.

A limited palette of carefully selected neutral colour makes shape and surface quality paramount.

Recent developments with paper manipulation have seen the emergence of a body of work that strips common everyday tools of their function to begin new lives in frames and as installations.

The signature shapes evocative of productivity, use and common history are now redundant, subverted into the dysfunctional and elevated to the decorative. Exploring fragility, transience and memory, I pay tribute to my subjects, selecting worthy candidates and quietly reminiscing about their importance to my own personal history.
